Haworthia are a great option for not the best of light conditions.  We wouldn't suggest putting in a bathroom or closet, however, these are great for spaces that get only a few hours of light a day or soft lighting such as apartments, condos, and the like.  These can also withstand brighter lighting as well and seems to increase growth sooner. Excellent beginner plant!
