📦 Shipping Policy

 Plants and Things LLC wants to get your items to you as soon as possible. We are diligent in processing orders, but shipping times can vary depending on the type of item purchased as well as carrier delays, seasonal demand, and other factors outside our control. We are committed to preparing your order carefully and ask for your reasonable patience and understanding.

 For our local customers, we will work diligently with you for the quickest and most convenient options for shipment and delivery.

Local Customers

 We offer in-store pickup or curbside for eligible items. This is usually the quickest option. There is no shipping charge for this option. Pickup and curbside availability will reflect in your checkout shipping options.

 Pickup-Only Items

 Certain products are only available for local pickup or delivery. If a pickup-only item is added to your cart, shipping will not be available at checkout. We recommend checking product pages for pickup-only notes, which will be added where applicable.

Custom & Personalized Items

 Some items are custom, customizable, personalized, or made to order and require longer processing times prior to shipping. Once finalized, we will begin the shipment. Please allow up to 2 weeks. We will keep you updated on progress.

 If you select to have a customized or personalized item shipped rather than delivered locally from Plants and Things LLC, you will incur the calculated shipping rate based on the destination address. You will see the applicable charge in the checkout process. Most calculations are based on weight and destination.

 🌱 Hand-Selected Shipouts (Store-Shipped Plants)

  •  Orders placed by Friday night will ship the following Monday.
  •  Each plant in this collection is hand-packed with care at our shop in Bonne Terre.
  •  This schedule ensures plants are shipped at the start of the week for the safest travel and arrival.
  •  Look for plants marked Hand-Selected Shipouts to know they ship directly from us.

 🤝 Partner Shipping

  •  Some plants on our site are shipped directly from our trusted nursery partners.
  •  Partner-shipped plants may ship on a different schedule and could be delivered separately from Hand-Selected Shipout orders.
  •  These products are marked on their product pages so you’ll always know how your order will arrive.

 💲 Shipping Rates

 Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination and weight of the order.

 USPS and UPS have announced longer shipping times and/or increased rates. This is also common during the holiday season. Please be mindful of these delays when factoring shipment and delivery times and rates.

 🌎 Shipping Locations

We currently only ship within the United States. Some states are excluded. This will be reflected in the checkout process.

 

🚚 Delivery Policy

We are not currently offering local delivery. Other options available are shipping, curbside, or in-store pickup.

📌 Usual Delivery Policy (when active)

  • Plants and Things LLC offers local delivery within a 100-mile radius of St. Francois County, MO.
  • Order Confirmation: All deliveries must be confirmed via phone call to 573-260-1224. We will not process a delivery order without a confirmation call. This step is required to protect our customers, recipients, delivery drivers, and Plants and Things LLC.
  • We may contact you using the information provided at checkout (email or phone number). If we are unable to confirm via call, we will not process or schedule a delivery.
  • To confirm and schedule delivery details, please call 573-260-1224.

🚫 Delivery Restrictions

  • Plants and Things LLC does not deliver to areas, locations, or situations deemed unsafe by the driver.
  • In such cases, the order will be cancelled, the item returned to stock, and delivery fees will not be refunded.
  • Delivery personnel are not allowed to enter inside any home or residence. No exceptions.

💲 Delivery Fees

  • All delivery fees are non-refundable.
  • If a delivery is cancelled by either party due to conditions or restrictions, Plants and Things LLC will retain any delivery fees paid.
  • Please confirm all delivery details in advance.

    Delivery Rates:

  • $5 — Local in-town (Bonne Terre, MO within 5-mile radius).
  • $7 — In-county (outside Bonne Terre but within St. Francois County, MO up to 15-mile radius).
  • Up to $25 — Eligible neighboring cities within 100-mile radius, including St. Louis, MO.

⚖️ Content Restrictions

Plants and Things LLC does not knowingly create, customize, personalize, ship, or deliver any items deemed unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We also will not provide items that violate any party’s intellectual property, personal property, personal safety, or in any way pose a threat of harm to persons, or violate these Terms of Service.
