How it began.
Plants and Things didn’t begin with a green thumb. It began with a love of design and making beautiful things.
Our first plant creations used artificial plants, but once we began working with live plants, there was no looking back. Kokedama and plant arrangements offered ways to frame a plant’s natural beauty, bringing living things and creative design together. We started small, developing strong skills and plant knowledge through years of learning and hands-on experience.
As we grew, our motto, “For Each a Plant,” expressed something important to us: everyone should have a way to enjoy plants. For some, that meant a living arrangement. For others, it meant plant based bath and body products. Long before opening our shop, we carefully sourced these products, building lasting relationships with apothecaries and makers who understood their ingredients and cared about what people put on their bodies.
Tea became a natural extension of that idea, offering another way to experience plants and bringing opportunities to taste, learn, and gather.
Today, we bring that knowledge and creativity to our boutique, pop-ups, workshops, and tea experiences. We create and educate, helping others build confidence and find their own connection to plants.
For the love of tea, plants, and the natural arts.
